Cardiac Creek West Zinc Project
Location: British Columbia
- 1,164 acres (471 Ha)
- Mineral claims in the Kechika Trough Geological district
- Easily accessible via an extensive network of forest services roads and close to air strips and rail transportation at the nearby town of Mackenzie.
- Past drill campaigns have defined a significant body of mineralization.
The Cardiac Creek West Zinc Project is located in British Columbia and is approximately 1,164 acres (471 hectares) in size within the Kechika Trough Geological district. The previous exploration programs on this property included mineralogy, comminution, dense media separation (DMS), and rougher/cleaner Pb and Zn sequential flotation. Historical drilling has defined a large tabular body of mineralization that has approximate dimensions of 1,500 metres in strike length, a dip extent of 850 metres and true thickness approaching 50 metres.
The Cardiac Creek West zinc project is located adjacent to the Akie Project being advanced by ZincX Resources Corp. (“ZincX”) and is proximate to the Cardiac Creek deposit that ZincX is also advancing. The Cardiac Creek zinc deposit held by ZincX hosts a NI 43‐101 indicated resource of 22.7Mt grading 8.32% Zn, 1.61% Pb and 14.1 g/t Ag and an inferred resource of 7.5Mt grading 7.5% Zn, 1.24% Pb and 12.0 g/t Ag (at a 5% Zn cut‐off grade).
Eastern Zinc is focused on generating Zn-Pb-Ag SEDEX targets within this project area.
